As I woke up, and studied the scene in Front of my eyes, I suddenly figured : Mother Earth has painted some marvelous Landscapes, but none compare to the sunny Country of Ivory Coast and its past. A sight so heart-rending yet so splendid. Like a clear diamond, the ebony skins And the white hearts are the reflection of My heart who fled from traditions, back to My true home here in the Ivory Coast. The beauty of the grey dim morning light, Accompanied by a long line of cars From the beeline of the steady lagoon, To the horizon of the high ocean. The lavish sunset who lovingly claims The African heart, who fastly alarms The citizens they need to head home now, Who induces sailors, to navigate Its body of water so soothingly. to worry for The water will always guide you home Happily, Merely, and Blissfully. Rows of greenery, chains of tall trees, Coconuts falling and a radiant Sun embracing the golden matte tans. From North, East, and South, their weak feet appear ! A small point on the globe, unrecognized. A small point, one who takes up most of the Space in my heart. That small and poor, cramped point, I find it the most beautiful of points!
